Amber is a Master’s prepared Independently Licensed Social Worker that brings over 15 years of experience working with seniors. Prior to joining the Cypress team, she had experience working in psychiatry, skilled nursing, home care, and assisted living.
Amber admits she never had the intention of working with the elderly, but knows that life has a funny way of directing you where you are meant to be. “Helping patients and their families get the best possible end of life care is very meaningful work” Amber says. “As far as working for Cypress Hospice, it is a pleasure to work for a family owned company, whose priority is always the care and well-being of those we serve. This is how health care should be.”
When she’s not at work, you can find Amber spending time with her husband Chris and daughter, Ingrid. They enjoy gardening, hiking and spending time outdoors together.
