Mike is proud to have grown up in a family dedicated to the long-term care profession. From cleaning floors as a teenager to now managing care and services throughout the long-term care continuum, he can truly say he has learned from the ground up. He dedicated his formative years, and now his professional career to providing the best in care and services to seniors, and in creating an environment that reflects his family values.

“I love having the opportunity to be part of a family business,” Mike says. “I enjoy working with my siblings to create an organization that is dedicated to delivering the best care and services to those entrusted to us. I enjoy working with our Directors and employees to create a family environment where our residents, patients and their families are the center of attention.”

Mike holds an MBA from Cleveland State University. He was the first CSU MBA graduate to specialize in long-term care administration. In addition, he holds a license from the Ohio Board of Executives of Long Term Services and Supports (BELTSS), and is the first person in the nation to receive a Health Services Executive (HSE) credentialMike serves as Chairman of the BELTSS licensing board and is a member of its Education Committee.

In addition to his work with Generations, Mike has been heavily involved in service to the Ohio Healthcare Association. OHCA is Ohio’s largest long-term care association serving centers for skilled nursing, assisted living, and those with developmental disabilities. Mike served as the OHCA President from May 2012 – May 2014 and continues to serve on the Board and Executive Committee. In addition to his service with OHCA, he works with the National Association of Long Term Care Administrator Boards (NAB) serving on its Board of Governors and assists in national examination development for long-term services and supports Administrators.
